A title already on your Binge Senpai shelf is never added twice. A title our catalog doesn’t have yet isn’t lost: it’s fetched and joins your shelf on its own once it’s in.
What to bring, and what you get.
MyAnimeList
Type your MyAnimeList username and the list comes over as it is on your profile. A private list? Upload your export instead: on MyAnimeList's export page (myanimelist.net/panel.php?go=export) press Export My List, then upload the file as it downloads (.xml or .xml.gz).
Anime and manga: status, score, episodes and chapters, start and finish dates.
AniList
Type your AniList username. The list has to be public while it comes over.
Anime and manga: status, score, progress, start and finish dates.
Anime-Planet
Export your list from Anime-Planet's export page (anime-planet.com/users/export_list.php; anime and manga are separate files) and upload each one. One import runs at a time, so the second waits for the first.
Status, rating, progress. Titles you marked “Won’t watch” become “Not for me”, so they never come up again.
Crunchyroll
Install the Binge Senpai Chrome extension, open Crunchyroll and export your watch history with it, then upload the .json file it saves.
Your watch history becomes progress, season by season, and your custom lists become collections.

Most lists are in within a minute of pressing Start; a list of a few thousand titles takes a little longer. You can watch it count up, or leave — it keeps going, and your shelf is ready when you come back.
Nothing gets rounded off.
- MyAnimeList and AniList scores are already 1–10 and stay exactly as they are.
- Anime-Planet’s half stars (½ to 5) become 1–10: four stars is an 8.
- Crunchyroll’s 1–5 stars become 2–10.
- Dates come over as your tracker kept them. A date with only a month becomes the first of that month.
